CULTURAL AWARENESS OPPORTUNITY: Beginning Saturday, January 28th, 9am to noon, a seven-week course is being offered free to the public at the Loyalist Aboriginal Resource Centre in the Kente Building (Main Entrance), Room 3H9.
Who Should Attend? Individuals working with FNMI peoples – including educators, educational assistants, counsellors, service providers, front-line staff – and other people who have an interest in learning about the richness of Indigenous cultures.

PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY businesses and non-profits may now register with Prince Edward Learning Centre for the federal Career Focus program to hire new, young employees. Businesses/non-profits filling a vacant position and willing to hire a person aged 30 and under starting their career may apply for a subsidy to support training costs. Please note that there is some flexibility around the catchment area so that Hastings County businesses and non-profits may apply.
