A REMINDER – GOOD BABY BOX FOOD DRIVE – May 9th to June 19th – The CDC is collecting jars of baby food or monetary donations. The goal for 2016 is 7,500 jars – an increase of 50%. CHILDREN’S MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES: You are invited to the 20th CMHS Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday, June 29th, noon to 2pm (lunch included) at the First Pentecostal Church, 490 Dundas Street West, Belleville, featuring Robert Morton, “a highly experienced health care executive who has worked in a number of senior positions within the Ontario health & social service system over the past thirty-five years.” Please see poster and respond by June 22nd.
OUR DREAMS MATTER TOO! CYSN members and community partners are invited to participate in this year’s walk and letter-writing event supporting culturally based equity for First Nations children. There were over 4000 walkers across Canada last year. Participants will meet on Friday, June 10th at 59er’s (8011 Hwy. 2, Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory) at 9am.
