Pink Shirt Day is more than just a symbol of a shared belief in celebrating diversity; it’s also a commitment to being open minded, to being understanding of differences and to learning to respect each other.
This year will be the 7th annual Pink Shirt Day here in the Quinte region. Pink Shirt Day started at Trenton High School as a small event that sold 80 shirts the first year. After receiving some amazing press in the local papers, television, and through word of mouth, Pink Shirt Day attracted the attention of other schools and organizations throughout our community. Together, all of our schools and community created a ‘sea of pink’ last year and we sold over 4000 pink shirts! WOW!
INFORMATION FOR THE 2015 EVENT

How Shirt orders can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline is FRIDAY FEBRUARY 13!
Sponsors: We are able to sell the shirts for $5.00 because of generous people and businesses that donate additional funds to cover the extra costs. We call these generous people our supporters, and thank them by putting their name or business logo on the back of our shirts.
We are eagerly looking for more supporters for 2015. If your school, organizations in your school, or businesses would like to donate, we would be extremely grateful. All donations will be accepted, but only businesses or schools that donate $250.00 or more will have their logo put on the shirts. Tax receipts can be issued if requested.

Looking forward to turning our community into a ‘Sea of Pink Support’ on Wednesday April 8, 2015, with you!
Sincerely, The Pink Shirt Day Committee
