GRANT APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE: The Rotary Club of Quinte Sunrise is inviting submissions for grants to fund local (Quinte area) community service projects, and international service projects. The application deadline is September 3rd, 2014 at 4pm.  Please CLICK HERE for details.

INFANT MENTAL HEALTH: An Introduction to Baby Triple P webinar presentation is being offered on Tuesday, June 3, 11am-1pm.  “The Triple P Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) is a tiered multilevel system of parenting supports that have both preventative and treatment components. As the United Nations leading recommended program for evidence based parenting (UNODC, 2010), Triple P promotes positive relationships between parents and children through introducing a self-reflective framework to parents in order to enhance and strengthen the interactions with their child.”   Please REGISTER HERE to receive the webcast login details.

SAVE THE DATETapping the Power of Networks, to be held in Toronto on September 15 and 16, will explore the network approach for collaboratively addressing complex and interconnected challenges. The kinds of challenges where you need to work together. Registration will be open late spring. Add your name to the mailing list to get notified as space will be limited.  Send your request to Liz Rykert.  The cost is $200 which includes a copy of the book by June Holley, “The Network Weavers Handbook.”

YOUTH ENGAGEMENT:  The goal of ENGAGE 2.0 training is to increase the capacity of adults to engage youth in the development and delivery of programs that affect them.  This free two-day training is scheduled for June 18th and 19th, 9am-4pm in Kingston.  Space is limited.  To register, email angela.mortimer@kflapublichealth.ca by May 30th.
