Alternatives for Women Looking to Collaborate

Alternatives for Women Logo

Hi everyone…

Some of you I have met…others…I am sorry to say I have not…So let me introduce myself…I am Rahno Godfrey…Executive Director of Alternatives for Women in Prince Edward County.   I would like to share a quote I am sure some of you may have heard…it goes like this…

”When all is said and done more is said than done”

Don’t let this be us…I understand there are a couple of grants available through the United Way of Quinte, of particular interest is the Collaboration Grant and the Youth Grant.  While the United Way has not combined grants in the past, I feel there may be potential for a few agencies, a representative from the high school, and of course youth to meet together to brainstorm and share some possibilities.

If this piques your interest and gets your creative juices going, respond to this partnership request to set up a meeting date in the near future.  The deadlines for grants are June, September, November and January 5th in 2015.

If there is someone you think might be interested, for instance a high school arts or drama teacher, feel free to pass this on.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Cheers,

Rahno Godfrey, Executive Director, 613-476-4435, alternativesforwomen@bellnet.ca
