Community Service Network Helps Providers Stay Current with Programs and Services

The Community Service Network is an open forum for service providers across Hastings-Prince Edward to share and obtain up-to-date information about supports, services, programs and resources for children, youth and families – not to be confused with the Children and Youth Services Network which is more community services planning table than general information-sharing table.

This Community Service Network meets in the Prince Edward Room at the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, 156 Ann Street, Belleville from 9-11am on the fourth Wednesday of each month from September to May with the exception of December.

Guest speakers from approximately 60 members are scheduled in advance.  January’s meeting featured presentations from the Health Unit Family Health Department and the Belleville Pregnancy and Family Care Centre, followed by roundtable information-sharing.  The next Community Service Network meeting will be held on February 26th, 9-11am with guest speakers from Abigail’s Learning Centre and Community Learning Alternatives.
