BELLEVILLE DOWNTOWN DOCFEST 2014, featuring films that celebrate life and human

FOOD SECURITY: National award winning artists Dawn Tyler Watson and Gary Kendall will perform at a Valentine charity dinner dance at the Banquet Centre in Belleville on Friday, February 14th to benefit the Community Development Council’s Good Baby Box program.  Please CLICK HERE for details.

TRANSITIONAL AGED YOUTH (TAY):  A mapping of services for youth aged 16 to 24 years who need mental health and/or addiction services, as well as a variety of other community supports, has been developed through this project.  To view the Hastings-Prince Edward map in Excel format, CLICK HERE.  Please share this information with frontline staff throughout your organization who are working with youth.

TAY PROTOCOL WORKSHOP:  A Protocol has been developed for transitioning and connecting youth aged 16 to 24 into an Addictions and/or Mental Health (AMH) system of service access in Hastings-Prince Edward Counties.  The Protocol  is currently being implemented in Belleville and Quinte West.  A Together, We Work Better themed workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Maranatha Church in Belleville. The objective is to enhance cross-sectoral relationships and knowledge of community supports amongst frontline staff to implement the Protocol and improve Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) outcomes.  Registration is required as space is limited.  Please contact Judy Bridle Ext. 249 or Lily Lee Ext. 256 at 613-969-0830.
