Aboriginal Awareness Workshops at Loyalist College beginning February 1, 2014

Everyone welcome!

I just received details about an opportunity to help increase our awareness about Aboriginal peoples, particularly the Mohawk Nation.

Beginning Saturday, February 1st, 9am to noon, a seven-week course is being offered free to the public at the Loyalist College Kente Building (Main Entrance), Room 3H9.

Who Should Attend?

Individuals working with Aboriginal peoples – including educators, educational assistants, counsellors, service providers, front-line staff – and other people who have an interest in learning about the richness of indigenous cultures.

For more information and to register, contact Deiana at (613) 969-1913, ext. 2250 or 1-888-LOYALIST or TTY 613-962-0633 or dgonyea@loyalistc.on.ca

Sponsored by the Loyalist College Aboriginal Resource Centre

  1. Hello,

I see that the first day of this course is on a Saturday. Will the other 6 weeks of content also be covered on a Saturday?

    Thanks,

    Elizabeth
