The Community Service Expo Planning Committee invites all residents of Hastings and Prince Edward Counties to the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre Gymnasium where 50 organizations will be on hand to answer your questions and distribute information. The event will take place on Thursday, November 7 from 2 – 7pm at 265 Cannifton Road, Belleville.
The aim of this event is to raise awareness about the many programs and services available to community members. The Expo will feature everything from early childhood topics, financial support and immigration to volunteerism. Each agency will be promoting the importance of overall health and well-being of all community members.
Wendy Anderson, Coordinator of the Children and Youth Services Network, says, “it’s important for everyone in our community to be aware of the wealth of free programs and services available them. Residents of Hastings and Prince Edward Counties are fortunate to have such dedicated service providers to help promote good health and well-being.”
This event is sponsored by United Way Quinte and The Eastern Centre Ontario Training Board. We encourage residents to join us at the Community Service Expo to take advantage of some great information and resources.
The Community Service Expo Planning Committee is comprised of representatives from Community Living Prince Edward, Trenton Military Family Resource Centre, Triple P, Volunteer & Information Quinte, Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, and the Hastings & Prince Edward Children and Youth Services Network.
