Know Where to Turn When Children and Youth Are in Crisis

Following a recent transformation of the Hastings-Prince Edward children and youth mental health system, Children’s Mental Health Services, the Parent Child & Youth Clinic and Youthab offer separate but complimentary mental health services and support to children, youth and their families.

A 24/7 Child/Youth Mental Health Information/Crisis Line, 613-966-3100, operated by Children’s Mental Health Services, directs clients to the most appropriate service:

  • Clients in danger of harming themselves or others will be referred to the nearest hospital.
